One Year
One year of motherhood…done. I’m like a pro now. HA! I still don’t know what I’m doing at all, but I am really enjoying learning, and life is good!
Aaron is so great. It doesn’t matter if he’s throwing all my measuring cups across the kitchen or playing in the toilet, the kid is adorable - and I am overwhelmed by how much I love him, and how many times a day I look at him and my eyes mist over for no logical reason. I love his crazy bush-talk jabbering and the weird scary faces he makes, I love how he lounges in his stroller with his feet propped up on the tray, I love how his face lights up and he starts bobbing and waving his arms when he’s excited or hears music, I love how he comes and rests his head on me and sucks his thumb when he needs a quick breather from playing, I love how he pretends to be really upset when I start to change his diaper so I’ll start tickling him, I love how when I come to get him in the morning he lays there staring at the wall and smiling around his thumb while I rub his back. I just love that kid.

Cute cute. I wish I knew him better, so your post helped with that. I am really looking forward to getting to know him better in a couple days. Congrats on your first year of mommy-hood and your green yard.
